Bio
A Madrid-born DJ and producer based in Barcelona, Bizza has spent years building one of the most solid and distinctive sounds in the Spanish house scene: deep groove, full-bodied rhythms, exotic vocals and a dancefloor energy that is hard to explain but impossible to ignore. A sound rooted in Old School, Hip-Hop and House, now resonating across the most important clubs and festivals in the world.
His productions have reached the right ears from the start. Jamie Jones has played them at festivals like Music On and on his own radio show. Marco Carola, Paco Osuna, Loco Dice, Skream, Hot Since 82, The Martinez Brothers, Michael Bibi, Mau P, East End Dubs, Franky Rizardo, Wheats, Joseph Capriati and Alisha, among many others, have not hesitated to include his tracks in their sets. And tastemakers like Pete Tong, The Martinez Brothers and Skream have brought his music to BBC Radio 1, the most influential platform in global electronic music.
That industry backing has a direct reflection: several of his releases have reached the Beatport Top 10 in their genre, and both Mixmag and DJ Mag have introduced him to the world in interviews as one of the most promising and respected artists for his work in the studio. Further recognition came from the Vicious Music Awards, where he was nominated as Breakthrough Artist.
He has released on labels including Hottrax, Moan, Deeperfect, Elrow Music, Sanity, Viva Music, Müse, Bamboleo, Organic Pieces, Rush Label, Clarisse, Take Notes, Ball Park, Reecords and Issues, among others. His recent release on Botaniq — Dennis Cruz's label — was met with exceptional enthusiasm from the industry and firmly placed his name in a conversation that shows no sign of stopping. With the arrival of his release on Cécille, one of the most respected imprints in the circuit, Bizza marks a new chapter in his career. And a third release is on its way — on the label of one of the most relevant artists of the moment — of which, for now, only one thing can be said: it's coming soon.
Live, Bizza has graced stages such as Prysm Chicago, INPUT Barcelona, Ministry of Sound London, Selva Mallorca, Pacha Barcelona, Fabrik, Industrial Copera, Riviera, Cosmos, Es Gremi, Café del Mar, Lost Beach Club, Viu Medellín, Switch Rosario and Whynot Perú, sharing the booth with Luciano, Joseph Capriati, Dennis Cruz, Pawsa, Héctor Couto, Cuartero, Wade, Blackchild, Ben Sterling, Rafa Barrios, Chelina Manuhutu, Andrea Oliva, John Digweed, Debora de Luca, Toman, East End Dubs, Nic Fanciulli, Miguelle & Tons, Fleur Shore, Marco Faraone and many more. He has taken his music to Spain, the United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, Bulgaria, Malta, Portugal, Andorra, the United States, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Argentina, Uruguay, the Dominican Republic and Chile, and has been part of the line-up of brands such as Dreambeach, Brunch, Sight, Cécille, Botaniq, DoNotSleep, Magnetic People, Extremusika, Rebels and Code World Tour.
Completing his artistic universe is Ohana Music, his own record label fused with Ohana House Parties, the events project through which Bizza takes his vision beyond the booth.
